PAYMENT IS DUE IN OUR OFFICE BEFORE, OR BY THE END OF THE BILLING MONTH.

REMINDER NOTICE: A $15.00 Late Fee will be assessed on account balances of $50.00 or more after non-payment by end of billing month, plus a 1.5% finance fee on outstanding excess water charges, if applicable.

DELINQUENT NOTICE: A $30.00 Late Fee will be assessed on account balance of $100.00, or more, after non-payment by the end of 2nd month in quarter, plus a 1.5% finance fee on outstanding excess water charges, if applicable, and water services will be scheduled for disconnection.

DISCONNECTION/RECONNECTION FEES: The Disconnection/Reconnection Fee is $50.00 and will be assessed to any water service account in which the association disconnects. Before water service can be reconnected, the water account must be paid in full, including current and past due charges, all assessed late fees, finance fees, and turn-off/turn-on fees that are due on the account.

RETURN CHECK/NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS FEE: A $30.00 Return Check/Non-sufficient Funds Fee will be assessed on accounts in which payment checks or other forms of payment are returned as Non-sufficient Funds (NSF).

HARDSHIPS:

Dalton Water Association understands that hardships happen from time to time and we want our members to know that consideration can be given to those situations. The Hardship Application may be submitted within 30 days of the date of the Reminder Notice for board review at the next regularly scheduled board meeting.
